About Us

Artsy Does It is a blog dedicated to indulging a passion for all things artsy – literature, design, music, film, theatre, art, food (it is a creative art, promise) – you name it, if it’s considered cultural, we’re probably into it. We also from time to time post our own work, both critical and creative, to showcase our personal projects and brag a little about how amazing we can be when we really put our minds to it.

The Artsy Does It team come from all over the UK and share a variety of specialisms across the arts ranging from designers to artists to writers, even though our specialisms may no longer be our day jobs. We’re a small but growing team always on the look-out for new talent to join the ranks, so if you’re reading this thinking you have something you could say/do/show here, get in touch! Likewise, if you have something you think we should be ranting and raving about, let us know!

We hope you like what you see here and continue to follow us as we grow into what we hope will be something really spectacular. If you have anything to say to any of us individually, or to all of us as a team, please feel free to talk to us! We don’t bite; in fact, we quite like it, promise!

I do hope you’ll be exploring the excellent spoken word events that Wolverhampton have to offer- the libraries events list is a good starting place

Ooh thanks for the heads-up, Jane. I’ll be sure to check those listings when I get the chance. Look out for a review in the future! Maybe even one of us taking part if we become brave enough.
